SIMS seals are unique because they incorporate SIMSITE® structural composite glands and SIMSITE® structural composite sleeves for superior corrosion resistance.

The SIMSITE Split Mechanical Seal is lightweight, corrosion resistant, has excellent sealing capability and can be installed without taking the rotating element apart! It is also 85% LESS WEIGHT than a type 316 Stainless Steel Sp[lit Mechanical Seal and the SIMSITE Split Mechanical Seal is NOT subject to stress crack corrosion!

All SIMSITE® Composite Sleeves are precision-machined on CNC lathes to meet the most stringent specifications.

Contrary to metal Sleeves, SIMSITE® Composite Sleeves allow for easy installation and removal. They are protective of the shaft against corrosion, electrolysis, and wear.

Our sleeves are 100% machined from solid blocks of SIMSITE®, and capable of continuous operation at 150 degrees Celsius and possess excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance.
